SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR INTERN
Location: Kenya (Remote / Hybrid)
Type: Internship (3–6 months, with possibility of extension)
Remuneration: Stipend (based on availability and skill level)
About the Role:
We are a fast-growing digital ROSCA company transforming how communities save and invest together. We are looking for a highly motivated Social Media Content Creator Intern who is passionate about digital media, storytelling, and fintech/social impact.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong portfolio, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a full-time content or social media role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)
• Assist in developing content ideas aligned with our brand and audience
• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Design basic graphics, carousels, and posts
• Write captions, hashtags, and short copy
• Support content scheduling and posting
• Track basic engagement metrics and learn what performs best
• Stay up to date with social media trends in Kenya and globally
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of content creation and social media platforms
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, InShot, or similar
• Interest in fintech, savings groups, startups, or social impact
• Strong willingness to learn and take feedback
• Good communication skills
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):
• On-camera confidence
• Basic video shooting skills (phone is fine)
• Copywriting or storytelling skills
