SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR (EXPERIENCED)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Social Media Content Creator to lead and execute our social media content strategy. This role requires someone who understands how to build brand awareness, engagement, and trust through compelling content—especially within fintech, savings culture, or community-based platforms.
You will play a key role in shaping our brand voice and online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a content strategy across all social media platforms
• Create high-quality short-form and long-form video content
• Edit videos to a professional standard suitable for social media
• Conceptualize campaigns, content series, and storytelling formats
• Write compelling captions, scripts, and calls to action
• Manage content calendars and posting schedules
• Analyze performance metrics and optimize content accordingly
• Collaborate with founders and marketing teams to align messaging
• Stay ahead of trends and platform algorithm changes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience in social media content creation or digital marketing
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
• Proven track record of growing social media accounts or campaigns
• Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and visual design skills
• Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of Kenyan digital culture and audience behavior
Nice to Have:
• Experience in fintech, finance, startups, or community platforms
• On-camera presence or experience directing talent
• Influencer or community management experience
